Here is an opportunity to show your Grandparents they are young at heart by taking them on a unique outdoor adventure.
We'll meet at Glorietta Bay, have an introductory paddling lesson, then launch our kayaks for a paddle under the beautiful Bay Bridge to the Coronado Ferry Landing. There we'll enjoy a fabulous brunch while we gaze out over the blue waters of San Diego Bay toward the downtown San Diego skyline. After a satisfying meal we will paddle back to Glorietta Bay.
Coming in the Fall
Join us for this nature tour on one of San Diego's oldest reservoirs. Located in the hills west of Escondido, we often see mule deer and coyotes come down to the water for a drink as we paddle by.
After a rain there are a couple of nice waterfalls and occasionally the dam is known to overflow.
We also see many resident birds on the lake such as Western Grebes, Great Egrets, American Coots, and Great Blue Herons. Bring your binoculars and see how many different species you can find.
We will teach you the basics to be efficient and safe on the water!
We offer private lessons so we can focus all our attention on your needs and abilities.
It helps if you are already comfortable around the water, but we also specialize in helping those with a fear of the water or with special needs.
Every person is different but all ages and abilities can learn to kayak.
We provide the following:
