Fathers' Day Kayaking Adventure on San Diego Bay
Show Dad he has an adventurous spirit on the exciting tour by kayak on San Diego Bay.
We'll meet at Shelter Island for an introductory paddling lesson. Then we'll launch our kayaks for a beautiful tour of the bay traveling toward Point Loma.
Along the way we'll visit the marine mammal training area where they work with dolphins and sea lions. Then we paddle to the local bait barge where the California Sea Lions hang out. We also see many species of birds such as Brown Pelicans, Snowy Egrets, Double Crested Cormorants and Great Blue Herons.
We make it easy for you to join us on this paddle. We provide all the kayaks and equipment plus an
introductory paddling lesson. No previous kayaking or swimming experience is required.
We use stable, comfortable 2-person kayaks that are easy to paddle for a safe, enjoyable day on the bay.
Bring your family and friends for an up-close-and-personal view of the California Sea Lions.
Cost is $44 per adult, $18 per child (2-14 years of age) sharing a kayak with an adult. Includes kayak, life vest, paddle, introductory lesson, and instructor/guide. $22 discount with your own kayak.

Catalina Island Sailing and Kayaking Adventure
7-Day Adventure: Tuesday, July 9 - Monday, July 15, 2013
4-Day Adventure: Friday, October 11 - Monday, October 14, 2013
Join us as we set sail to the beautiful waters surrounding Catalina Island aboard the schooner Californian. This voyage offers a unique perspective on seamanship, maritime history and the awesome beauty of the Pacific Ocean.
The Catalina adventure sail will use the tall ship, Californian, as our base camp for a kayaking adventure. Sailing aboard the Californian offers an opportunity to step into the past and experience the romance of tall ship sailing. Our friendly and experienced crew will be happy to share their knowledge with you, and as an active member of the guest crew you will take your turn standing watch, hauling lines, manning the helm perhaps even going aloft.
Along with the challenge of sailing a tall ship and becoming accustomed to a more rustic lifestyle, you'll share with your shipmates camaraderie of a sort rarely found on shore. If you have an adventuresome spirit, a robust nature and a passion for the sea, then this is the trip for you!
The 4-day adventures explore the coast of Catalina Island. The 7-day adventure will include a visit to Santa Cruz Island and Painted Cave, the largest sea cave in the world.
Cost for the 4-day adventure is $775. The 7-day adventure is $1095. Includes sailing adventure (departure and return San Diego Maritime Museum, San Diego Bay), guided kayaking tours, meals and accommodations on the Californian.
